Fifth Gazelle puts Pascal in top 0.07%

Winning team: founding directors (L—R): Senior VP Business Development Peter Frentz, CEO Lars Fenger and Senior R&D Specialist Jesper Lind Hansen steer Pascal through eight years of continued growth.

Pascal A/S has become one of only 28 companies in Denmark to be awarded the Børsen Gazelle Award the last five years in a row, placing it amongst the country’s top 0.07% highest performing companies.

Awarded by Børsen, the leading Danish business daily newspaper, a Gazelle recognises continuous growth in turnover or gross profit over a period of four consecutive years, where either of those metrics has doubled during that period. The award of a fifth consecutive Gazelle to Pascal therefore signals the continuous achievement of such growth over a period of eight years.

Accepting the award on behalf of the company and his fellow founding directors, Senior VP Business Development Peter Frentz said, “While this accolade is in recognition of our financial success and continued growth, in truth I think it celebrates a unique culture of innovation and collaboration at Pascal that is responsible for this success. It shapes our approach to engineering, our sales and marketing strategies, and defines our client relationship management. Most of all it is the DNA of our company, our people and our organisational culture.”

In recent years the trophy cabinet in the Pascal boardroom has been rapidly filling up. Not only are there now five Børsen Gazelles, accountants PwC last month recognised the contribution of CEO Lars Fenger in shaping the company’s far sighted employment practices and organisational culture, with the award of its ‘Theme Prize’ for ‘Talent & Technology’.

“It is very satisfying to gain recognition for the nature and the success of our company, as well as for our products and engineering,” comments Fenger. “These awards attest to the contributions of all of us in making Pascal a remarkable company and place to work.”
